Good news: "A federal judge in California said Thursday that the U.S. military's ban on openly gay service members violates the Constitution, the most recent in a string of court rulings overturning restrictions on the rights of the country's gay men and lesbians."

About 40 of us marched up San Francisco's Market Street yesterday. It was great being led by our college president, Tom Mohr, and Chancellor of the San Mateo Community College District, Ron Galatolo.

Great Meeting Yesterday!

Great to get our GLBT group here at Cañada off to a solid start with pizza, a warm welcome from Cañada College President Mohr and a small but enthusiastic group of students, faculty and staff. We are hosting a table at Club Fair today from noon to 2:00. Come by and say hello.

Welcome to Cañada College, or welcome back. We have a great Queer Straight Alliance here at Cañada. It's a small but friendly group of students
